A: Our festival is a safe outdoor venue following local guidelines for outdoor events. Masks are not required, however please feel free to wear one to help keep our community safe.
A: You can get the best value by purchasing a large cup of tasting coins from one of the Coin Booths for $20. The large cup has 14 coins. Or get the new Taste of Charlotte APP for digital coin! No touching physical coin and pre-purchase to avoid lines, plus top up when you want!
A: Yes! Some other vendors like the kids activities, balloons, and desserts range from 3 coins to 5 coins. Specialty beverages and alcoholic options range from 5-7 coins. Some of our artists and other businesses also accept cash and credit cards for non food products.

A: Because it’s fun, of course! And it allows for free admission to the festival! Coins replace flat entry ticket fees. Then, YOU CAN CHOOSE how much you want to taste and experience onsite without the expense of flat ticket costs. Plus, every coin redeemed by a restaurant directly supports that restaurant’s expenses to participate in the festival AND every coin redeemed by a beverage purchase directly supports that non-profit at that beverage booth. We support 6 charities onsite and love to continue to support our local restaurants, since they all work so hard to be a part of this event!

A: Bring your friends…bring your family…but please leave your furry friends at home. As a food festival, we request that you leave your furry friends at home to avoid conflicts with sanitation in food service.
